Shed Pad & Apron
Transforming an overgrown backyard into a practical, construction-ready space. This project included vegetation clearing, bulk cut and fill earthworks, laser-controlled level corrections, and a fully compacted shed pad with a generous surrounding apron. Final trimming, shaped batters, and engineered drainage falls provide a stable foundation with excellent access and long-term performance, ready for the next stage of construction.
Confined Access Excavation
A recent backyard excavation completed using our compact mini excavator. We removed turf and excess soil, levelled the area, and converted the garden bed for future turf—all while working in a narrow access between the shed and boundary fence. Tight access is where our equipment really shines.
Asphalt Driveway
This project involved the construction of a large asphalt shed apron and access driveway adjoining a rural/residential shed and workshop. Works included trimming and compacting a blue metal underlay, establishing drainage falls, and installing two layers of asphalt, each trimmed and compacted to specification. The finished surface provides a durable, all-weather access area with excellent drainage runoff performance, improved usability and a clean, high-quality finish that enhances the overall presentation of the property.
Driveway and Lawn
Completed comprehensive level corrections and site preparation works including front lawn cut fill and grade, driveway box out and preparation, side access shaping and screening, and rear yard dressed for grass. Imported and trimmed material to achieve correct drainage falls, improve usability, and prepare the property for final landscaping and long-term access.
Caravan Park up Bay
Completed a full pad extension and retaining wall installation to create a stable, usable area beside the shed for future access and caravan bay. Works included excavation, retaining wall construction, geofabric and drainage installation, imported fill placement, compaction, and concrete pad preparation and pour. The finished result provides improved functionality, structural support, and long-term site stability.
House Pad
The project successfully transformed an uneven, rock-affected residential block into a prepared building foundation. Through the screening and export of unsuitable rock material and the construction of a compacted house pad, the site was delivered ready for the next stage of construction with improved usability, drainage, and foundation stability.
Land Transformation & Site Preparation
This acreage transformation involved bulk earthworks, trenching for underground services, selectively filtering & separating suitable material to utilise around the property, and full site regrading. Tree Removal & Site Restoration
Multiple trees were removed to improve access, maximise usable space and enhance the overall appearance of the property. Works included excavation and removal of the stumps and major root systems, followed by backfilling, a little trimming and a thorough site clean-up, leaving the owners with the street appeal they were after.

Tight Access Turf Prep
This project involved a back yard renovation, transforming a tired, uneven grassed area into a clean, level, and ready-to-turf outdoor space. Using our mini excavator and skid steer, we carefully stripped and removed existing turf and organic material, imported quality topsoil, and regraded the entire area to create consistent falls and improved drainage. Working within the narrow access corridor between the home and boundary fence required precision excavation and attention to detail to protect existing structures, pool fencing, and services.
Garden Bed Preparation & Soil Improvement
Garden beds excavated and shaped to suit the landscape, with trenches formed to improve definition and drainage. Premium potting mix was blended through the existing soil to create a nutrient-rich growing medium, leaving the area ready for planting with a clean, professional finish
Retained Driveway Construction
This project transformed a sloping backyard into a practical, functional space with a retained driveway and additional under-house storage. Works included excavation, installation of retaining wall with drainage & geofabric separation, placement and compaction of quality road base, and precision grading to provide durable all-weather access to the rear of the property. We also excavated beneath the elevated verandah, creating valuable, level storage space while improving access, run-off and the overall usability of the property.
Front Yard Transformation
This complete front yard renovation transformed a steep, difficult-to-use block into a practical and visually striking entrance. The project involved bulk excavation, tree and stump removal, construction of engineered tiered retaining walls, and installation of a new reinforced concrete driveway designed to maximise parking and improve vehicle access.
The finished result provides a significantly larger, more functional parking area with safer access, while the tiered retained garden beds create an attractive landscape that complements the home and controls the natural fall of the site. From excavation and earthworks through to final shaping and landscaping, every stage was completed with a focus on durability, drainage, and long-term performance.
